Dark, foreboding, our eyes
Black catches me on my
You sway in cloak, secretly
telling me your secrets.
You sing to my pulse, strumming
my veins to melody…..
My lips part, you whisper against
them, offering paints with crimson….
So curious, yet silent you watch…
I reach for reality, and you are gone,
aisles between us, no longer alone.
I savor the moment, tongue on teeth,
flowing scarlet, lost in night…..
